Volunteers

Volunteers are the backbone of Big Beat Playground.

They help make everything happen, ensure everyone is enjoying themselves and offer assistance to others when needed.

If you’re looking to gain some valuable experience for your CV or just want to get involved within the community, we would love to hear from you. You could get a chance to meet other like-minded individuals, become a part of the team and help create the next event.

The most important aspect of every event is its setup and de-rigging. Without it, nothing would happen. It can be hard work, but equally rewarding, and you can be a part of making it happen.

Once the event is up and running, we would kindly ask you to become our eyes and ears. Ensure everyone is happy, enjoying themselves, and that everyone is kept safe. Please report any problems you may see or hear. No experience is necessary, but we do require you to come with a smile and a positive attitude.

In return for your volunteering, we will give you £20 towards your travel, lunch, and water for the day.
